Support Center & FAQ

How to find my Device ID?

Your unique Device ID is typically printed on a barcode sticker on the physical underside or back of your central gateway controller. Alternatively, you can log in to your local router admin panel or check the device documentation to find the MAC address, which can also serve as the identifier.

What encryption protocol is used?

All data exchanged between your local home gateway and our cloud infrastructure is fully encrypted using TLS 1.3 with AES-256-GCM symmetric keys. This ensures that no third party can intercept or read your telemetry data during transit.

Device shows as "Offline"?

This status usually indicates that the central gateway has lost connection to either your local Wi-Fi router or the internet. Please check if your router is working properly and ensure that ports 443 and 8883 are open on your local firewall.

Can I connect multiple mobile devices to a single gateway?

Yes, our platform supports multi-user access for family members or administrators. You can authorize additional accounts through the main dashboard settings by generating temporary access tokens.

What is the maximum distance supported between the gateway and individual sensors?

The typical range is up to 100 meters in open space using sub-GHz wireless protocols. Indoors, this distance may be reduced depending on the thickness and material of your walls.

How often do the wireless sensors require battery replacement?

Most of our low-power Zigbee and Z-Wave sensors are designed to run for up to 2 years on a single CR2032 or CR123A battery. The system will send you an automated email notification when any sensor battery falls below 15%.

Does the gateway support local operation if the internet goes down?

Yes, the basic automation rules and local schedules are stored directly on the gateway internal memory. They will continue to execute normally, although cloud access and remote statistics will be temporarily unavailable until connection is restored.

How do I perform a hard factory reset on my controller?

To perform a reset, use a thin pin to press and hold the "Reset" button on the back of the device for 10 seconds. Please note that this action will erase all local configurations and you will need to register the device again.

Can I integrate this system with third-party platforms like Home Assistant?

Our gateway features a local API and supports MQTT broker integration for advanced users. This allows you to bridge our sensors with most open-source home automation ecosystems.

How does the system handle power outages?

The main gateway contains a small built-in backup battery that keeps the system running for up to 4 hours during power failures. Additionally, a backup cellular module can maintain connection if your main ISP line goes dark.

What should I do if a specific sensor stops reporting data?

First, try placing the sensor closer to the gateway to rule out signal interference or distance issues. If the signal is fine, replace the battery and re-pair the sensor using the physical button on the side.

Is there a limit on the number of sensors connected to one gateway?

A single gateway can comfortably handle up to 128 connected wireless sensors without any latency issues. For larger deployments, we recommend adding a signal repeater or an additional gateway to balance the network load.
